Motherhood is wild, it’s messy, it’s hard, it’s beautiful... and somewhere, among it all, it’s magical. There’s specks of magic that pop up often if we are open to seeing it. I created this painting full of vibrant colors to represent the twists and turns that motherhood can take us on. And yet, there’s the magic, sitting right among the ordinary, the dark, the light. Motherhood is a test of our openness, our convictions, our growth as people. When they’re born, we’re born. So glad to be in motherhood alongside many of you. I hope you feel some of that when you look at this artwork.

I also brewed a French press coffee and incorporated

COFFEE & GROUNDS into this piece. Yes, really. See if you can find them. I don’t know about you, but my version of motherhood runs on coffee. :)

I am sharing MOTHERHOOD I and Il at the same time, and I have a feeling I’ll keep adding to this series over time. Many of us are in the thick of motherhood over here.
